The stream in flood washes Little Terrace
Till there's not a speck of dust on top.
I remove my sash to sit facing the west,
Loosen my gown to welcome the breeze.
Evening coolness creates a carefree joy;
I long to share the wine-cup with friends.
A bright moon awaits us beside my brushwood doors;
When will you visit me with your goosefoot cane?
